Planets

The Fourth and Fifth Grade students created their own planets and space artwork. We began by learning about the planets in our solar system and from there, we made our own planets using coffee filters, markers, and water. Next, students learned about other features found in space and had the opportunity to create a space scene around their planet. We wrapped up by giving their planets a name, a history, and an interesting story.
