Self-Portraits

The Kindergarten and First Grade students have been hard at work creating self-portraits. We looked at famous portraits, and then famous self-portraits and figured out what makes them different. Students then drew a self-portrait and I made copies for them. They then colored their self-portraits using colored pencils on one copy and paint for the next copy. Lastly, we connected the self-portraits with small pieces of paper glued to the back.
