Bubbles!

In kindergarten we have been having way too much fun. We have been blowing bubbles that are mixed with food coloring and the resulting work is incredibly beautiful. Students create an individual piece and then move on to a piece that they work on as a table team. Seeing them work together as they explore, discover, and compliment each other's work is definitely the highlight of this lesson. To finish their pieces, students find the weird shapes their bubbles made and outline them. Each child then creates a drawing that shows an experience they have had with bubbles. We sit in a circle on the carpet as each student gets to share their artwork with the group.
